Some Better Ideas
- Provide a political choice that ends the petty divide through its "centered" focus of promoting policy that benefits as many Americans as possible
- Support the use of term limits and publicly funded campaigns in order to end political dynasties, and provide an incentive to elected officials to focus on the peoples business as opposed to raising money to fund the next election cycle and to pander for votes.
- Provide a Government that treats all Americans as part of the "Human Race". Race should not be a factor in how people are treated period!
- Compromise is not a dirty word. Approach legislation without deep-rooted win/lose mindset.
- Social programs that simultaneously provide a safety net and an incentive to not use it.
- Identify responsible firearms legislation in order to tamp down on the explosion of gun violence. Keep in mind that assault style weapons did not exist when the second amendment was added to the Constitution. Disregard the NRA's money and lobbying efforts
- Get government out of Americans’ love-lives and the choice of whom to love.
- The rule of law is critical, however it must be applied equally to all.
- Stop squandering tax-payers resources by setting and keeping a genuine balanced budget. Measure expenditures by considering their return on Investment in both human and fiscal terms.
END THE STATUS QUO
The Right and Left are in a brutal tug of war which is devastating to America, its people, and our democratic principles. We need change in our politics, more than ever before!
